Each cartridge type has unique capacities, including 220 sheets from PG-830 and 205 leaves from the CL-831 model. The rate of printing with this device depends on the complexity of the document or the printer model. When printing a black text on plain paper, the rate is up to 20 pages per minute (ppm). On the other hand, the color printing runs at a speed of 16 ppm at optimum performance. Printing on a photo paper of 8 x 10 inches size is at the rate of 139 seconds.
