The Brother MW-100 printer is with a special indicator light that emits distinct colors to show specific conditions of the printer. For instance, there are three colors, green, red and orange. Brother MW-100 specifications

The red light on the printer when constantly lit indicates a system error which may require prompt attention of the supplier. Also, the orange light shows that the printer is currently charging and saving power on its lithium battery for further printing without an AC input.

The device is a mobile portable printer with impressive print quality and resolution. The printing method is a direct thermal printing with an installed line thermal print head that produces a resolution of up to 300 x 300 dpi. More so, the printer works best on a Brother A7 cut paper of 74 mm x 105 mm in size.

The printer works at a rate of 15 seconds per sheet on the average but regarding the standard text on a thermal paper. However, the coverage of the print is at an ambient temperature of 250C for optimum performance of the device.

Regarding paper supply into the device, the machine is capable of a compatible Brother paper cassette. This cassette works with an automatic paper feed mechanism for the A7 cut paper. Furthermore, the power supply of the device is primarily through the compact switching AC adapter. That helps save power on the inbuilt lithium ion battery of 780mAh capacity.

The printer interface complies with the USB version 1.1 as well as an infrared port compliant connectivity with the IrDA version 1.2.
